Get Opinion and Analysis

The Highline Voices series brings a range of diverse perspectives to our community, featuring the expertise of Highline College staff and faculty. Started in 2016, the series regularly appears in the Federal Way Mirror.

Use the Style Guide

Use the in-house style guide to find words, names and abbreviations commonly found at Highline. By following the guide, you will create consistency in your message, which will help your reader. Plus, it will help save you time while creating print and electronic materials for students and the general public.

Submit a Story Idea

Great stories require collaboration. They also need planning. Contact us early if you have something newsworthy that you would like considered for a media release or article. Submit your idea using the online story form.

Work With the Media

We are here to help Highline faculty and staff work with the media — reporters and editors from magazines, newspapers, radio, TV and blogs — in responding to questions and garnering attention. If a member of the media contacts you, email Josh Gerstman.

If you have an upcoming project with an outside organization that features Highline College, its academic departments, or programs that may be featured on social media, email Tony Johnson and Josh Gerstman with the details. They can help promote the project on the college’s main social media channels.
